Turrtread matting is one of the most popular varieties of rubber matting sold in the UK and abroad. The top surface is covered in small bubbles which offer a good non-slip surface for livestock and those working in stables and farms.

The underside of the mat has deep grooves running lengthwise which assist drainage when placed directly on concrete floors. When installed in horse boxes, these mats are sometimes placed bubbles facing down so the rigdes allow liquids to drain immediately out of the vehicle.

Sealing these mats around walls is not really necessary but if required, a variety of sealants can be used to achieve this.
