About Us

Technix was established in 1989 with specialist expertise, knowledge & history of the Rubber & Plastics Industry.

Most commonly known in the past for our Marine Engineering, Sponge & Sheeting, Gaskets & Seals, Mouldings & Extrusions, Hose & Ducting, and Flooring & Matting products which are still a large part of our range.

We now operate as one of the UK’s largest Safety Surfacing and Ground Protection manufacturers. Since entering the safety surfacing industry just over 8 years ago we have not looked back. Our most common products include; Safagrass which is sold all over the world, selling in excess of 1 million mtrs.

Our biggest news to date has been our investment in our manufacting facility; we now own and run two large injection moulding machines. This has enabled Technix to rapidly progress to a UK manufacturer. Our UK made products are;

• GrassLok - Fire Resistant and Interlocking grass matting for Playgrounds,
• PaveLok - Interlocking, Antislip Ground Protection matting
• CheckerLok - Puzzle Checkerplate Tiles for Leisure and Industrial Applications
• PennyLok - Puzzle Checkerplate Tiles for Leisure and Industrial Applications
• VersaLok - Hollow Interlocking matting for Leisure and Industrial Applications
• UniFoot - Rigid Foot for supporting small & large ducting, pipe work or electrical containment
