After GrassLok’s sucess at Castle Park in Colchester in 2011,  Hags Play have been asked to complete another renvovation and we’ve now supplied GrassLok to all the grassed areas that did bot have the matting.

GrassLok in Green has been specified as a more natural looking alternative to the black. The Park now looks better than ever…

Technix is due to start production of  ‘GrassLok’, a new safety surfacing solution that will be manufactured by Technix in Britain. We recently took delivery of the injection moulding machine and expect to have GrassLok available for purchase from early October.

Technix have recently installed Tech Play rubber safety tiles at The Victoria & Albert Museum. Some of their current exhibits are intended for use by children, so a reliable safety surface was necessary.

Technix SafaGrass has been installed at the National History Museum’s Butterfly Explorer Exhibition. Our SafaGrass has been fitted in play areas and on pathways throughout the exhibit to increase the safety of their high volume of visitors.

We have recently installed our TechFlex safety surfacing at Seymour Leisure Centre in London. Our wet-pour system was used as an 80mm safety surfacing under their climbing walls. This is a  logical choice as TechFlex installations can be tailored to the customers requirements for impact protection.

Access was particularly difficult for this installation with on street parking in the centre on Westminster. Narrow stair and walkways meant that all materials had to be moved to location by hand and wheelbarrow!

Technix is pleased to announce we are now stocking a range of Tremco adhesives.  (link) These products are particularly suited to applications involving our range of rubber and PVC flooring and matting.

These adhesives offer a number of advantages over traditional bonding solutions including an extended working life, superior water resistance and low toxicity.
